About Thompson

Jennifer Thompson is a Central Florida small business owner and serves as President of Insight Marketing Group. In this capacity she is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term strategic vision for the overall organization including publishing the company’s community-based monthly news magazine and hosting the company’s weekly small business networking group. Prior to starting Insight Marketing Group, Jennifer was director of marketing for Simon Property Group at one of the Country’s very first and largest outdoor retail town centers.

Jennifer is extremely active in her local community and sits on numerous business and charitable boards. In 2005, Jennifer was selected as the Orlando Business Journal’s top businesswoman of the year under the age of 40 for her dedication and leadership within her community and the small business community. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. For the past three years, Jennifer has hosted a weekly small business networking group at the Orlando Airport Marriott and has helped over 2,000 small business owners improve their business. Jennifer is currently a candidate to become our next Orange County Commissioner for District 4. This is her second time seeking this office.
