I live in the Avalon Park area and I have major concerns with the speeding and reckless driving along Avalon Park Blvd. It is at the point of being dangerous.   I have even witnessed cars racing.  How can we request to have the Police monitor this area on a regular basis.  I never see officers here giving tickets.

The Sheriff’s office has been notified about this and asked to keep an eye on it. I am working with Orange County Public Works on overall traffic calming for this area because certain spots on APB have become a concern.

Actually, the State of Florida does govern HOA's.  I believe it is Chapter 720 of the Florida Statutes.
